Woodland Fish and Wildlife Publications is a series of publications for Pacific Northwest forestland owners interested in enhancing fish and wildlife habitat on their properties. Newest titles are available on-line. All are available in hard copy from OSU Extension or your local stewardship forester.
Oregon Forests Resources Institute
The Oregon Legislature created the Oregon Forest Resources Institute (OFRI) in 1991 to improve public understanding of the state’s forest resources and to encourage environmentally sound forest management through training and other educational programs for forest landowners. OFRI is funded by a dedicated harvest tax on forest products producers.
International Society of Arboriculture Educational modules to help you learn what it takes to keep the trees in your yard healthy, safe, and beautiful, and prevent them from becoming hazardous can be found on the Hazard Tree Prevention website (PNW Chapter, International Society of Arboriculture).
