Regulations governing the practice of electrology, permanent color and tattoo arts in Oregon are contained in Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) 690.350-690.430. 
 
Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) for electrology are contained in Chapter 331, Divisions 505-545. Rules for permanent color and tattoo arts are contained in Chapter 331, Divisions 505 and 550-590.
 
Oregon Health Licensing Agency (OHLA) statutes and rules related to procedural, administrative, licensing and regulatory compliance requirements for all OHLA-regulated professions are found in ORS 676.600-676.625 and 676.992 and OAR 331, Divisions 001-030.
